I had a good trip down to Brisbane today for my 70-291 (Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure) Microsoft Certification Exam. I arrived at the testing centre well ahead of my official exam start time but I was allowed to start anyway.
I was shocked to see how many SUS (or WSUS) questions there were on the exam. I barely studied SUS because it was such a small part of the prerequisite material I had on hand. Anyways to cut a long story short I think I ended up guessing about 50% of the questions on the exam. I received a score of 65% and I needed 70% to pass. On the bright side, I think I will get to re-sit the exam for free in the next month or so. I'm definitely going to pass next time.
All the reading I have done online has hinted at this exam being a difficult one and I think they were right.
UPDATE: After reading a few more study guides I've noticed that most don't reference SUS at all. Even the Microsoft study guide doesn't reference SUS.
