Demand Dialing vs Remote Access
Remote access connections have different credentials for the calling and called computer. That is, the router has different credentials to the computer dialing in.
A Demand Dial connection has the same credentials for the calling and called computer. That is, both computers are routers and dial using the same credentials.
A router being dialed will recognise the calling computer as a remote access client if the credentials do not match the credentials on the router.
