Asus Pro31s

After purchasing an Asus Pro31s for a staff member, I tried to install Windows XP on the laptop. We aren't using Windows Vista, so by default I have to replace the OS on purchase.

When starting the Windows XP install it failed, couldn't find the hard disk. After a little bit of research I found that changing the SATA controller from "Enhanced" to "Compatible" mode enabled the controller to be detected by the Windows installer.

Once the install was completed I went looking for the drivers on the Asus website. Turns out the drivers aren't listed. Using the auto-detect facility worked, it determined my Asus Pro31s to be an Asus F3Sc.
Pro31* = F3*

Where the asterisks usually match. The drivers are installing now, wish me luck!
