A little big update

In the last month I've changed jobs. Settling into my new job has been slow and interesting. The system I am working with is fairly locked down and there isn't a lot I know about it. I mean, I don't even know what all the server roles are and it took me nearly a week to get the admin passwords. I'm slowly making a place for myself, adding stuff to my to-do list and making sure jobs get done when the managers are too busy to do them. I think everything will fall into place by the new year.

On a different note, I'm nearly ready for my 70-293 exam. I've written 30 pages of notes for this exam. The topics are mostly revision, but this exam also covers some of the more 'exciting' technologies included in Windows 2003 Server. Probably the most useless topic covered in the exam is WINS. No one EVER uses it...

Now for the fun stuff. I finally got my hands on LittleBigPlanet. It's like a mix of a game making program, an incredibly fun platformer and a lego type engineering program. I've made my fair share of tanks, ufos, rocket ships and buggys. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
