Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration (MCP Series)

Windows 2003 Server has Enhanced Security Configuration (ESC) enabled by default during install. ESC can be uninstalled, just like any Windows Component through Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs.

When using ESC options in a Group Policy Object (GPO) the ESC settings will be visible on a computer with ESC enabled and invisible on a computer without ESC. ESC is not available on Windows 2000 or Windows XP, so a GPO cannot propagate the options to these operating systems.
